Visit promotes 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games as catalyst for social, economic & environmental change
Mayor Sam Sullivan will be in Ottawa and Toronto this week to promote Vancouverâ€™s five goals and the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
In Ottawa, Mayor Sullivan is planning to meet with various federal Ministers and Members of Parliament to discuss:
Mayor Sullivan will also meet with the Governor General of Canada. In Toronto, he will deliver a lunch address to the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association. The theme is, â€œPreparing to host the world in 2010; using the Olympics as a catalyst for social and economic change.â€ The lunch details are:

Mayor Sullivan will meet with Mayor of Toronto and Lieutenant Governor of Ontario. He also plans to participate in a special event with the Canada Paralympic Committee and meet with the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences to promote Vancouverâ€™s bid to host the 2009 Juno Awards.
